Diversity+ Project Receives a Perfect Score of 100/100 for Its Implementation!

The Diversity+ project, funded by the Erasmus+ programme, received the maximum implementation score of 100 points from the Italian National Agency INDIRE. This is an outstanding recognition of the project’s achievements and contributions to promoting diversity and inclusion in early childhood education and care (ECEC).

The Diversity+ project aimed to support ECEC educators and institutions in creating inclusive learning environments that celebrate the uniqueness and diversity of every child and are characterised by mutual respect.

The project developed:

· A Diversity Charter setting out standards for inclusive care and examples of good practice;

· An online benchmarking tool for assessing ECEC organisations seeking to make their activities and services more inclusive;

· An ECEC Diversity Ambassador profile, corresponding to Level 5 of the European Qualifications Framework, together with training resources to support the development of this role within organisations;

· A case-based serious game for training ECEC professionals. The educational game helps educators recognise and overcome their own prejudices and biases, while developing empathy and acceptance of differences.
