Gender+ fourth partner meeting

Despite the difficult circumstances we are currently facing, the Gender+ online transnational meeting on April 22-23, 2020 gave the partnership chance to assess the progress and plan our next activities.

The two-year Erasmus+ project aims at improving the gender inclusivity within the Vocational Education and Training (VET). It involves 6 partners – Aspire-igen – UK (coordinator), Learmera Oy – Finland, the Business Foundation for Education – Bulgaria, CIAPE – Italy, LUNG – Slovenia and CSI – Cyprus.

So far, the partnership collected best practices in gender positive provision across the European VET sector and elaborated a Gender Positive Charter, which sets out the minimum requirements which a gender positive institution needs to follow.

The Charter served as a foundation for the development of an interactive benchmarking toolfor VET schools to assess their current gender inclusivity and find suggestions for improvement. We will appreciate if you take a minute and participate in its piloting.

In the last 6 months of the project, the consortium will establish a Gender Champion Skills Profile. The role of this professional is to support the organisations’ efforts to become more inclusive.
