IN-BOUND is a new two-year European initiative funded by the Erasmus+ programme, bringing together partners from five countries to reshape young people’s perceptions of careers in the modern process industry.
While the sector is rapidly evolving toward sustainability, digitalization, and human-centric technologies, many young people and job seekers still view it as outdated. IN-BOUND bridges this gap, particularly for disadvantaged youth, by equipping them with the right skills and a clear vision of modern industrial roles.
Key Project Outputs and Tools:
- Interactive Job Profile Avatars – digital profiles illustrating real-world roles and essential practical skills.
- Scenario-based Interactive Video – an engaging format allowing viewers to step into a professional role and make decisions in daily workplace situations.
- Educators’ Toolkit – practical guidance for VET teachers, trainers, and career counsellors.
- Open Online Platform – a central digital hub offering free access to all developed materials.
The IN-BOUND project is coordinated by the City of Tampere (Finland) in partnership with Mindshift Skills Hub (Portugal), Technical Institute of Heraklion Chamber (Greece), Pendik Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School (Türkiye), and the Business Foundation for Education (Bulgaria).
