Business Foundation for Education is the entity responsible for the implementation of the training and certification program for career professionals Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) in Bulgaria since its establishment and for the first time in these 15 years the training has been delivered online due to the COVID-19 conditions and restrictions. 12 professionals from institutions and public and private organizations and career services providers participated.
It has been a serious challenge and more than a usual training. We had to be very careful, flexible and persistent in order to allow no compromise with the aims of the training program and the quality of the process for all participants. We have many conclusions and ideas based on these training sessions which are really important for our future work. And we appreciate highly and are very grateful the 12 professionals who have taken part in this unexpected endeavor for their professional attitude and involvement.
Ensuring high quality career services in online environment and elaborating methodologies and tools to support this process are among the objectives of Business Foundation for Education for more than a decade already. Throughout the years we discuss them with the career practitioners’ community, we organize and conduct events, we implement projects, including one recognized by the European Commission as success story on European level and several as best practices on national levels, we elaborate training programs, instruments, platforms.
