The United Nations General Assembly unanimously declared 2 April as World Autism Awareness Day (A/RES/62/139) to highlight the need to help improve the quality of life of those with autism so they can lead full and meaningful lives as an integral part of society. More than a year ago our team of professionals from 6 organization from 5 European countries has decided to support this important process and elaborated the current project Work-Aut. Leveraging WBL to foster professional inclusion of people affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder.
The project team will be lead by Kunnskapstrening It, Norway and includes CIAPE – Italian Permanent Learning Centre, Italy, Internationale Projekte – Volkshochschule im Landkreis Cham e.V., Germany, IRIPS, France, Business Foundation for Education, Bulgaria and NAV Jobblyst, Norway.
