FUTURE final event

Future Final Event Zoom

On 11.11 the FUTURE partnership presented the results of the 3-year initiative. The European webinar involved more than 90 participants from different regions and was opened by a representative of the European Commission.

The project fosters innovation in career guidance through unique game-based scenarios in 3D virtual world which introduces the Generation Z to the jobs of the future. We developed Methodology for innovative game scenarios and inspired 38 career guidance practitioners from 13 countries to submit their innovative career tools in the European Competition for innovative career services. In parallel, we organized a contest for young people who submitted 93 ideas for jobs of the future.

We promoted the project in more than 70 events and reached more than 80 000 individuals through our campaign.

We collected feedback from more than 730 platform users and 85% of the them report positive impact on career skills development.

Recently, the Future Time Traveller platform – has received the special award for an innovative social platform at an international computer art forum and has been recognized as a good practice for social – emotional learning. We put together all results and key messages from the project in a Future Roadmap report.

All produced results are available in 7 languages on the project website and will be sustained at least by the end of 2023.

Meanwhile, 3 of the partners have initiated another project, CRAFT, which will build upon the platform and approach of FUTURE and will add more scenarios to specifically help young people in rural areas develop skills for the future.

In the last week the project coordinator BFE presented the FUTURE project results at the national Euroguidance training to 90 career guidance professionals and at the Refernet Bulgaria online conference to over 60 policy makers and education experts, as well as on an international webinar “Developing Career Guidance and Counselling services through Erasmus+ projects- experiences from practices“.

In the next weeks until the end of the project, the other partners will organize events in their countries, at which they will present the results to practitioners on national level.
