The Children’s Bazaar of Professions is part of the Proud of My Parents initiative of the UN Global Compact Bulgarian Network. It started 7 years ago and so far more than 5,200 children have learned about their parents’ workplace, learned what mom and dad are useful to the community and appreciated their work. The purpose of the final part of the program – the Occupational Bazaar – is to help children and young people understand first-hand what a professional is doing in their field, to realize that work is not just a means of earning money, but a need and a value that can bring satisfaction and joy.
