The tool is based on DigiComp and evaluates a wide range of skills – communication and collaboration through digital technologies, information literacy, online security, digital content creation, critical thinking, and problem-solving. The test is freely available in 4 languages from any device, and it takes about 15 minutes to complete. Users receive a report on how well each of their digital skills is developed.
The interactive tool was created under the project OCCAY – Online Academy for Career Counseling, which aims to give impetus to online career counseling. The Erasmus + initiative is coordinated by KARBON Consulting in Austria and includes bFlow in Austria, Beneke & Prinzhorn in Germany, Centro per lo Sviluppo Creativo Danilo Dolci in Italy, and the Business Foundation for Education in Bulgaria.
In addition to the evaluation tool, the partners will create a hybrid training course on digital competencies for career counselors, which will be ready by the end of 2022, a platform for online career counseling, and a guide to the basic requirements that organizations must meet to offer quality online career services – technical, regulatory, administrative and ethical.
