Since today the onine platform www.info4migrants.com, providing information for migrants and career advisors who work with them, is freely accessible in the 6 languages of the partnership – Bulgarian, English, German, Spanish, Swedish and Finish.

The main aim of the Info4Migrants project is to meet this European objective of effective integration through providing an innovative database, bringing together all the relevant information that migrants will need in each national context for use in guidance, vocational education and training settings by career counsellors, guidance practitioners or tutors with migrants.

The initiative is addressing the needs of the career advisors and guidance practioners in many European countries for more information and tools to support them in their work with migrants. The European Agenda for the Integration of Third Country Nationals also highlights that EU countries need to make the process of inward migration more attractive and unproblematic for migrants, firstly by improving the information available to them in the receiving society (e.g. job opportunities, culture, rights), avoiding clashes with the native workforce and informing migrants of their rights and obligations.
